Making Europe Work – Network Meeting in Tirana

Applications open for network meeting in Tirana (Albania)

Applications open for concluding event of “Making Europe Work” project, 12-14 July 2019 in Tirana (Albania). We welcome participants from civil society and political organisations from Germany, France and the Western Balkans. The project “Making Europe work“ brings together young motivated Europeans and their organizations from the Western Balkans, France and Germany and focuses on ways to enhance civil society cooperation in and between these regions.

Which challenges do politics and societies face in the light of recent developments in Europe? What are the options for the future cooperation between EU Member States and non-EU countries? What is the role of the young generation and what are its possibilities for action in these fields? The Franco-German motor and the Western Balkans, a European region of crisis and opportunity, are of central importance in this context.

The network meeting in Tirana (Albania) is the concluding event of the “Making Europe Work“ project. It serves to network with Albanian civil society actors and gain knowledge on the Albanian historical and political role and situation in the Western Balkans.
