Federalist Peace Forum – Call for Participants from Israel & Palestine
We are looking for young change-makers from Israel and the Palestinian territories who are passionate about peace and ready to imagine bold alternatives to the current deadlock.
The Federalist Peace Forum will bring together young activists from Israel, Palestine, and Europe on the island of Ventotene, Italy. They will explore shared values, overcome divisions, and co-develop a common vision for lasting peace. Inspired by federalist ideas, the project aims to create space for dialogue, learning, and action — beyond nationalism and polarization.
?️ When & Where?
- August 2025: Applications on a rolling basis until August 10, followed by a series of preparatory online workshops
- September 2025: In-person seminar on the island of Ventotene (Italy)
- Arrival Sunday 7th of September
- Departure Thursday 11th of September
- Oct 2025 – Jan 2026: Local peace actions in your community and presentations to stakeholders
? Who can apply?
- Aged under 30 (a few spots open for older participants)
- Proficiency in English
- Interest in conflict transformation in the Middle East
- Ideally with some local engagement experience
- No prior knowledge of federalism required — just openness to new ideas!
? What’s included?
- Travel reimbursement: up to €300 for Israelis, up to €400 for Palestinians
(We know travel from Palestine is difficult — we’ll find individual solutions where needed) - Accommodation and meals during the seminar are fully covered
