Think Globally – Act European!

As the ability of a single state to avert global problems such as climate change is in constant decline, Europe is seen as a positive vanguard as well as part of the problem. Many questions arise: Can Europe be the avant-garde of creating a sustainable climate-friendly economy while balancing social injustices? Can supranational democracy work and could it be a paradigm?

JEF Germany invites you to explore the opportunities and challenges that Europe faces during the eleventh installment of our annual international seminar in Berlin where we expect the gathering of more than hundred youngsters from all across Europe.

Learn about Europe, discuss politics, get to know fellow Europeans, act on stage or create your own media in diverse workshops. All against the backdrop of ever dynamic Berlin: from the quirky district of Friedrichshain to the seat of power at the government district.

Sorry, the application deadline expired on February 25th and the seminar is already well overbooked. Applicants will contacted  in the comming week.

This covers accommodation, catering and travel reimbursement. It has to be paid in advance by bank transfer after you received you confirmation.

Internationals pay 65€

Nationals pay 45€

Locals pay 25€ (only available if you need neither travel reimbursement, nor accommodation)

80% of your actual costs up to a maximum of 90€ for nationals and 130€ for internationals will be reimbursed by bank transfer if we receive your original tickets no later than one month after the seminar.

If you need a visa for Germany please fill in all requested data in the online application. After checking your application, we will provide you with an invitation letter for the visa process and advocate that you won’t be charged the service fee at the German embassy.
